J•CMS — Content management, made easy
Just easy.
J•CMS is a lean content management system built on J•Frame: edit content comfortably in the backend — and deliver it publicly fast, JS-free and data-sparing. Easy out of the box: clean HTML, clean URLs, built-in SEO. No clutter, no bloat.
What J•CMS does
- Clean URLs — pages live right at their path, no
/cms/prefix. - JS-free public frontend — server-rendered HTML: fast, cacheable, SEO-perfect.
- Cookie-free & data-sparing — the public frontend is designed to serve without cookies or tracking.
- Light/dark without a cookie — the switch lives purely in the browser and respects the system setting.
- Theme inheritance — themes extend one another (
extends); a slim child overrides only what it needs. - Thoughtful publishing — active, inactive, „unlisted" and trash, with clean noindex.
- Built-in SEO — sitemap.xml, Open Graph and canonical tags out of the box.
- Drag & drop menus — navigation up to two levels, comfortably sorted in the backend.
- Comfortable backend — WYSIWYG editor, media management and fine-grained permissions (RBAC).
- Modular — features arrive as modules, only what you actually need.
Origin
Its roots lie in an intranet information system from 2008. That became the classic J•CMS (2013–2018) — and from it grew the J•Frame framework that J•CMS runs on today.
